America, I stand here before you as you have exercised your patriotism. You have put me in this position to serve you, the people, and that I will do. I will run this country as endowed by the Constitution, to preserve your freedoms, to make this country great again. America is a country where every single person is treated as equal and should have equal opportunity to reach their goals and contribute to a prosperous society. However, these past couple of years have been nothing short, but the complete opposite of this. Our previous president ran this country into the ground. 8 years of failure. 8 years of dividing this nation. It’s time someone gets this once-great country back on track. I will beef our military and protect this country. I will create jobs and cut down our debts with other countries and our own. Yes, people will disagree with my policies, but they have to realize what’s it about. It’s about what our country was founded on.

This country has been driven away from those founding principles and I’ve come here to put the country back on track. In time the opposers will come around and thank me for saving our country. Thank you America for giving me a chance and I will not let you down! For the next 4 years of my presidency, I’ve realized that there will be a lot of people that will oppose my ideals. This is understandable, but change is urgent in our country right now. Throughout it there are many legislative laws that are bad for our country. For example, in California, we have a tax on bags which is another way to tax the American people and get money off of them. I want to cut your taxes. I want to put money back in your pockets instead of taking money out. Obama wants to raise your taxes. In his “Second Inaugural Address,” he says that we need to “revamp our tax code” which he did, but not in the way Americans would prefer.

He also talks about “reducing costs of healthcare.” In his failure known as Obamacare, this was quite the opposite. You’d have to pay through the roof. In an article written by The Weekly Standard, they showed a comparison of prices with Obamacare and standard healthcare. “The cheapest health insurance available for a healthy 30-year-old woman costs $744… Under Obamacare for the same person, it would cost $3107. With our country comes the responsibility of protecting the American people. In order to maintain this responsibility we need a strong military and a strong border. We need a strong military because terror groups like ISIS are getting bigger and stronger. We need a bigger military to go out take these pigs out. In July 2018, ISIS killed a couple from the U.S. The New York Times reported that “A car ran down a group of cyclists killing 4 people from the United States, Netherlands, and Switzerland.”

Heartless acts like these can’t continue on and these terrorists should never have a chance at getting in this country. To do this we a strong border, not only for keeping these terrorists out, but keeping all the illegal immigrants out as well. Is it fair to all the others who are waiting to come in legally? Is it fair to the people these illegal immigrants are taking the jobs away from? The answer is quite simple, it’s no and these questions are really the base of why we need strong borders and security. Another responsibility that comes with being the leader of this country is making sure our economy is as high as it can be. It should be quite intuitive that a country needs to have a good economy for it to be successful and ahead of other countries. Although, that’s not always the case for every country. You can see that in the Democratic Republic of Congo and their situation. They are one of the poorest countries in the world.

However, this will not be the case for our country. I will have our economy booming like never seen before. A good economy means a better country in general. In a news article written by The Washington Post talking about the Ronald Reagan economy they said that his tax cut of 1981 led to “more than 14 million jobs being created… incomes grew by over 22% and the economy grew by over 3.5%.” Now you can see the vast difference between a poorly run economy and an economy that’s run efficiently and smoothly and that’s what I aim to do for you the American people.

Ultimately, our country was founded on 3 principles, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Lately I feel as if we as a whole and shied away from that. I was elected on the premise of bringing our country out of this whole and that I will do. I want everyone to feel that they are safe with a strong military and border. I want people to feel they along with every person in America can have an equal opportunity in a booming economy. Together we will get this accomplished we will do it for you. I will not fail and I will not rest until I am satisfied that what I sought out to do has been done.
