The type of career that will help me in my pursuit of high standards is to become a surgeon. This high profile job is what I see myself doing that gets paid a lot to benefit my family while saving lives and giving me personal satisfaction and peace.
Surgery is a highly respectable and specialized profession that helps fix in injuries or inconvenience people. To become a surgeon you need to be very hardworking person, and be able think on your feet. Even though you may get your certificate you will have to make sure you renew your certificate every 10 years, because since there are many new innovations of medicine the board wants to make sure you are keeping up to dates of all the new innovation and scientific procedures in the medical world (p. 534 Career and Vocational Guidance).
Taking many sciences classes will be helpful during your high school years; such as "biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, [and] physiology" because it will help you build up your background knowledge on your proposed career (p. 18 Suggested High School Subjects). Also English is very important for your foundation in medicine, because it helps you learn how to write your reports and know how to communicate with your fellow physicians or patients. Becoming a surgeon is one of the most rigorous educational training you have to go through before you can get your certificate, and it doesn't just stop there.

To become a physical therapist you will have to go through four years of college. After your undergraduate you have to obtain a doctorate degree in physical therapist which is another four years (p. 17 Licensure and Special Requirements). When you finish your doctorate you have to take your National Physical Therapy Examination which lets you have your certification of becoming a therapist (p. 17 Licensure and Special Requirements). You can also specialize in physical therapist by becoming a pediatrics therapist, who works with kids or also a sports therapist who works in sport. (p. 17 Licensure and Special Requirements).
