For many years being a victim of bullying is a part of growing up as the majority of people went through the experience of being bullied at least once, so most of the people know what it feels to be abused and bullied. Bullying is a common problem that faces every child in the world and when it comes to the expression of bullying everyone has to understand it’s an aggressive and terrible act done by someone towards someone else who’s weaker and won’t be able to defend himself.

Bullying has many types like physical, emotional, verbal, cyberbullying and sexual bullying. All these types of bullying despite their noticeable differences they have a common thing which is abusing innocent children and hurting their feelings.

Unfortunately, bullying is a terrible act that people intentionally use to make fun and abuse innocent people who are not going to fight back and respond to these bullies (Menesini, Salmivalli, 2016). In addition to this bullying comes with its horrible effects and its hard circumstances for the victim as it’s the person mainly hurt. The effects of bullying especially the psychological ones for children last for years with them and could absolutely destroy their personality and social life (Pittman, 2013). These psychological effects matter more than any other effects of bullying as they target the emotional and mental health of the child.

The world of the bullied victim is filled with sadness, loneliness, depression as the victim won’t be able to enjoy his/her life as a normal child. This paper will discuss three important physiological effects of bullying children which are depression, low self-esteem, and social withdrawal. How does bullying affect children psychologically?
