India is one of the world's oldest cultures. This paper will discuss the languages spoken in India. Religion, Geographical division of India, and Prior military conflicts of India.

Defining the Indian culture in these five major characteristics, which are language, religion, land use/ education, customs, and government. Mainly Hindi and English languages are for business and economic and political purposes. "India is identified as the birthplace of Hinduism and Buddhism." The main beliefs in India are Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and Shik. India has the second largest Muslim population in the world. Making it one of the largest Islamic nation in the world. The Indian economy is one of the fastest growing in the world and 60% are employed in agriculture or related industries.

Indian customs and Protocols are divided into seven different categories. One would be Naming Conventions due to India is having a diverse cultural variance between regions on naming conventions, so if one would have doubt to ask so it will cause least offense. It is generally safe to address an elder with "sir" or "Ma'am." Another includes meeting and greeting. Men usually shake hands, it is preferred to greet with Namaste placing both hand together with a slight bow when meeting and leaving. In addition, men should not shake hands with women. There are three different basic human races present in India, which include White for Caucasian group, Yellow is signifying the Mongolian group, and Black is representing the Ethiopian Type. In the words of R. K. Mukherjee "India is a museum of cults and customs, creeds and cultures, faiths and tongues, racial types and social systems." There are different social systems and lifestyles, which build a complex diversity in India.
