John could not believe the myth that has been poured over all the citizens, priests and tribes. He questioned himself as to why he was chosen to discover the false myth. He didn't understand how he could bring this upon everyone, he wondered what there responses were going to be, and their intitl reaction to such news.

John continued his normal routine as he would do every other day, but instead he went about his day with continuous thought of the myth he discovered. Trying to push it out of his head he discovered something he has never seen before on his hand. While making lunch for his father he saw the number five on the outside of his left palm. He thought he was just seeing things so he called his dad in.

“Dad, do you see something here?” As John pointed to his left hand turned up.

“Actually son, yes I do. Did you draw that?”

“No, it appeared and I just saw it this morning.” Said John with concern.

“Go wash your hands.” John's father said pushing the unknown away.

After the day went on the mark was still there, causing John’s dad to wonder where it came from.

“I had a bizarre dream last night, but I can't recall what exactly happened, I have a very vivid memory of where I was though, right outside the place of Gods.” Said John trying to give information to his father. “What could the number 5 proclaim?”

“I’m not sure.” John's dad said with a shaky voice.

John went to bed that night thinking what could this number five signify. Two hours before the sun rise John's father came bursting into his room shouting for him to wake up. They got a call from a friend saying that he needed help because a tree had fell on the side of his house from the storm that night. As the hurried to gather their belongings together. They stared through the woods looking for their friends house, they looked up and saw they were exactly five kilometers away from the house. They kept moving as the wind rustled te leaves and the moon shined just enough to see where their foot would lay next. They started to pass houses that all looked the same, confused on which was there friends. Not far down they saw the fifth house with a tree laying up against it threatening anything inside.

“That's the one.” Said the priest. “Let's hurry in.”

John and his father went about the house forgetting what had happened the day before, forgetting all the strange clues. They walked in calling his friends name, but nothing was to be heard. All the sudden John heard five equal knocks. Knocks that seemed to be from the other side of the house. They followed were their ears brought them and ended up standing over five bones.

“I don't think we should be in here much longer.”

His dad stayed silent with no response. After a couple more minutes which felt like an hour to John, he suggested that they leave the premises and his dad agreed. Once home after a long night he layed back on his bed restless. He kept thinking about what happened that very early morning. He started to remember the mark on his hand, the number five, and the priest friends house being five kilometers away, the five bones. He was trying to put this all in the back of his head, he went downstairs to see what his father was up to.

“What are you working on?”

“Nothing!” John's father shounted.

“Are you ok?” John asked very confused.

“Let me be.”

The conversation that erupted that morning made John more worried. His father is known to keep secrets, and he wondered if this was one of the secrets that was being kept from him. All the sudden he saw the clues that were being presented right to his face. Everything that had happened that early morning were clues to as why he has a five marked on his hand. John, being the religious person he is went straight to the bible for the answer. He saw the mark on his palm and went to page five.

“If you are reading this you are the fifth person to go to the “Place of the Gods” and discover the truth. You should return and stay, if you obey this message you will be blessed with uncountable miracles, if you choose to not listen, harm is ahead.”

John slowly closed the bible, with his hands feeling totally paralyzed. He kept all this a secret, not even telling his own father. After reminiscing all night he decided he needed to take a step and go to the “Place of Gods”. The next morning he packed all of his belongings and started his journey. Unlike the first journey he had no obstacles in his way, instead was a boat waiting for him for a direct route to the “Place of Gods”. When he arrived he saw a city he didn't see before. It something he couldn't put in words. As he wondered where to walk he heard a voice, clearing any confusion up on what the miracle was to be. In only five words.

“Obedience rewards, John the fifth.”
