Essays on Harry Potter

An eleven-year-old boy enters Hogwarts School and opens the adventure of his life to the world's best wizard training school. Harry Potter, is a thin, dark-haired boy with round glasses and a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. He is orphaned with his uncle and aunt Dursley, sleeping in a room under the stairs, always be reproached by his relatives, and be punished every time a strange incident occurs. J.K.Rowling not only points to his own difficult life but from the shadow of the boy that reminds us of orphans like Harry. Not only that, but she also praises Harry's efforts in life in how he decides to endure his torture life day by day.

Harry Potter comes to Hogwarts for the first time. Hogwarts at first glance is a dream that all children are dreaming about. A magnificent, ancient castle filled with mysteries, and all professors have great magics. There are long corridors in the abyss, the stairs moving with the ghosts wandering around and talking paintings. Hogwarts also has festivals and an extensive hall filled with four houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and a sorting hat. This detail describes the world of wizards to the extent that readers can imagine each scene as they are reading.

‘The mirror of Erised’ is the most meaningful pattern in the book. There’s an inscription on the mirror that says: 'Erised stra ehru oyt ube cafru oyt on wohsi' = 'I show not your face but your heart's desire'. Albus Dumbledore knows that life can pass while you are still clinging to a wish that can never be fulfilled. Harry sees his parents because it is his most yearning, but he still understands that it is what he can never have. It is true that Dumbledore knows Harry Potter is suffering in vain because of the lack of family, but he knows that just sitting there looking at images of something that he cannot have, can only hurt Harry. It is correct that the mirror is hard to resist and full of enchantment, but it does not necessarily bring happiness.

In addition to the wonderful things of the magical world, we also encounter the friendship of the characters: a brave Harry Potter, a kind Ron Weasly and an intelligent Hermione Granger. The three make a beautiful friendship throughout the work, although there was friction between Hermione and Ron at first, but after the defeat of the giant monster, the trio increasingly close. The central relationship in Harry Potter is the friendship of the trio Harry, Ron, Hermione, not any love. It is friendship that can follow us throughout our lives, not just for a few years or months. People actually dream of having such close relationships. With real friends, it does not matter if you argue about a new broom or accidentally swallow a love potion because, in the end, they will always have your back anytime.
