When your quality of life improves, the quality of life of those around you improves too.

One of my goals is time management, I want to manage my time more efficiently. Procrastinating is a bad habit of mine. Sometimes waiting until right before the deadline gives me the motivation to focus on what I have to do, but oftentimes it makes me stressed and anxious. I often make excuses such as, I’m tired, I don’t have time or even I have plenty of time to do it. This is something I’m actively working on and I have found that I have been improving. I have found some methods that have been helping me break my procrastination habit, such as writing down a list of the tasks that need to be done, setting reminders or by rewarding myself after completing tasks on time.
Education is a very important aspect to succeed in life. It gives us knowledge of the world around us, which provides us a better life. My second goal is to graduate from college. I’ve always wanted to continue my education, but it has always been hard for me to do. I’ve faced many barriers that stopped me from going to college, but I am not going to give up and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to reach my goal. Being bullied as a kid for being overweight helped me decide on what I want to thrive for in life. My dream is to get my Associate of Arts Degree and to become a registered dietician, to be able to help people become healthy, happy and confident. I chose this major because being healthy is something that helped me live a better, happier life and to make a change not only in my life, but in other people’s lives as well.
