"Life Doesn't Frighten Me" by Maya Angelou convey that challenges can have a massive impact on who we are."Tuesday Of the Other June" is about a girl named June being bullied by the other June but, she soon learns to stand up for herself." Life Doesn't Frighten Me" is about a girl facing her challenges by using her inner strength. Both June and the speaker of Maya Angelou's poem faced challenges that shaped their character are conveying us not to give up but, to stand up for yourself.

The challenges faced by June make her a stronger person. According to the text, June says " No, No, No more." The text also says “ I pushed away the hand that held the pencil- and she stepped back” (Mazer 22-23)June is very brave because of her confidence. In the beginning June was scared, embarrassed, and bullied by the other June. But, towards the end, June's character is shaped by making her a stronger person.

According to the text, Angelou states, “ Lions on loose, dragons on breathing fire, panthers in the park that doesn't frighten me at all." she also states, "Don't show me frogs and snakes and listen for my screams, if i'm afraid at all it's only in my dreams.'
