There are many different theories as to how the 35th President of the United States got assassinated on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dealey Plaza, Dallas, Texas. The main theories are that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in killing the president, another theory is that there was a conspiracy within the U.S. government, and some think another country was involved. I personally think Lee Harvey Oswald killed President Jack Kennedy alone. During my research, there were many things that led me to think this. The first reason I believe this is because according to Dale Myers, an ABC News consultant, the evidence shows that Kennedy was shot in the upper back and the bullet exited his throat, that's why he grabs his throat right away.

Then the bullet enters Governor Connelly's back on the right ride, because that's how he was sitting, then the bullet exits Connelly's chest just below the nipple. This evidence supports the theory that Oswald was the only shooter that shot at the President. What makes this evidence stand out is that both men react to like they got shot at the same time. Connelly's jacket in the front kind of bulges out when the bullet exits his chest. With the path of the bullet, the evidence matches perfectly with Oswald shooting from the 6th floor of the Texas School Board Depository. The second reason I believe Oswald was the one that killed Kennedy is because according to Vincent Bugliosi in an interview with Robin Lindley, the murder weapon was confirmed to be owned by Oswald. The weapon was a Mannlicher-Carcano rifle, which had enough power to support the theory that the bullet went through both men.

Another piece of evidence that supports this is that Governor Connelly confirmed that he heard a high powered rifle go off. Another reason I believe Oswald killed Kennedy is because according to Bugliosi, Oswald was a supporter of Fidel Castro and the Cuban Revolution. He was certainly not in favor of Kennedy's Bay of Pigs invasion to overthrow Castro. Five days before the assassination, Kennedy, in Miami, gave a foreign policy speech in which he all but urged the Cuban people to rise up against Castro, promising prompt U.S. aid if they did. Oswald also had problems with daily life. He was very poor, he was often getting fired from jobs, and most of all he had a bead relationship with his wife. Bugliosi states that he thinks if Oswald and his wife would have gotten back together before the assassination, it would have never happened. The last reason I think Oswald assassinated Kennedy is because there is no proof to say otherwise. There is no hard evidence that the CIA, FBI, the Mob, KGB, or any other agency had anything to do with the murder.

All of the conspiracy theories are speculations that don't have any credible evidence. The FBI checked out everything Oswald did from the moment he arrived back to the States from the Soviet Union on June 13, 1962 to the day of the assassination. They found no evidence after 25,000 interviews, that he had any connection with any of these groups. Another thing to point out is if the FBI or the mob had hired Oswald, why was there no getaway car for him? He was roaming the streets looking for a bus after the assassination. You'd think that these groups wouldn't want Oswald to get caught with the fear that he rats them out. All in all, I believe the points I proved in this paper will draw one to conclude that Lee Harvey Oswald was the one that assassinated President Kennedy on that Friday in November, 1963. Many people think there are some unanswered question out there. But I think people need to face the fact that Oswald was the only man responsible.
