My family is my world. My mom, dad, and two sisters are what I hold most dear to my heart. We are from Mexico. My two sisters are 10 and 15 years old. They are both so lovely in their own unique ways. My mom and my dad are hard workers and great parents. Great parents who have taught me valuable lessons about life and happiness. They are the reason why I want to get an education and the reason why I am me. My parents are my inspiration for doing my best every day and for wanting to succeed.
My mom and dad have always emphasize the importance of school for my future since my mom only ended high school and my dad never finished it. They know that things are hard when you don't have a lot of education. I know that they both had the talent to do something different with their lives. I have seen my father's natural talent for math and art, and my mom's talent for science. I can imagine my dad as an architect and my mom as an agricultural engineer, that was her dream job .They had to forget about school and enter into the work force because they wanted to help their families. My two sisters also inspire me. I want to be a good example for them. I do not want to be an excuse for them for not doing things right. We as humans are always looking for the easiest way to do something and sometimes giving up is appears to be the easiest thing. I am not opening that door for them. When my little sister, Carolina, was learning to walk she use to give little steps to try to reach me, if she is still following me I will show her the way to a good future.
I love my family, and I will do my best to help them and to protect them. They are my inspiration for doing all I can to do better. They are my world. In fact that we are so close is somehow the reason why we are living in thins country.

My mom, my two sisters, and I came to the United States from Mexico 3 years ago because my dad was already working here and we wanted to be close to him. I had lived all my life in a little city with almost everyone knows who each person is or who their ancestors were. This change was a source of pain for what I was about to leave. It was also an exciting experience. Many new things and experiences and a great amount of memories left behind. My grandmother's tombstone still waiting for us to go and pray before it. It was sad of course, yet it was so interesting. Different schools, new friends, delightful places, and a completely new language. Everything new and different I was looking foward to it. I wanted to know how everything was and if I would be able to succeed among this whole new system with so distinct methods. I liked the challenge.
This experience has make me grow in many ways. First of all I fill a little more wise. I do not compare myself with fully experienced people but I thing that know I have a clear view of what I want in life, a realistic view. I do not think as a child anymore i am serious about my goals and have a plan of how to get them, thing that i had no idea how to do 3 years ago. I know that my family has a great influenced of me and they are a reason behind everything I do. I just barely realize that. I am so different and yet the same. I have the same ideas but now I know how make them become real or which I should forget.
I came to this country because of my family and I love it know. The difference is so great between who I was and who I am. I am a more active member of the community right know. I belong to many clubs; thing that was not very easy were I lived. I do tutoring also. It is nice to have a way to give back to your community. It is nice to have to opportunity to do your best.
