Firstly known in 1906 as the New Balance Arch Company of Boston Massachusetts which was founded by William Riley, the company is presently the New Balance Athletic Shoe (NBAS) Incorporated or widely known as “New Balance”. The early beginnings of New Balance traces from its innovative manufacturing of “arch support and orthopedic shoes”, and became famous from 1950s towards the 1960s when many athletes patronizes the company for custom-shoe manufacturing.
