Essays on personal

A personal essay is a piece of writing that is used for describing the author's experience regarding any topic. Usually, it either revolves around important lessons, thoughts, or conclusions that the writer made due to some events in his/her life. Style-wise, personal essay examples can be written as a very formal paper or follow a creative, non-fiction style.

Structurally, this paper may follow a classical three-part approach with an introduction, main part, and conclusion, and are written from the first person ("I" or "we"). The introduction part should give the reader an idea of what you're going to tell about, your thesis statement or argument. In the body, you describe what led you to this particular type of thinking (an event, or someone has told you something, and it provoked the idea that you tell about, etc.) The conclusion depends on the style you've chosen: if it's a formal personal essay for college, you usually thank the reader for coming this far and summarize your arguments. If it's informal and creative - you do you.
