Mexico: My Favorite Summer Vacation

Each summer my family and I always go on vacation and we normally go to Wisconsin Dells or Six Flags and spend more than two weeks in the hotel or sometimes we just go to Michigan. My brothers normally choose the place where they want to visit but since they were both out of town it was up to me or my sister. She said she didn't want to choose so for me to choose. I choose to go to Mexico. I normally don't have fun well not a lot of fun on the other places, but last summer it was different because out of all my vacations my favorite was this one because not only did we drive all the way over to Mexico, but I met some of my family that doesn't live with us in Chicago. Many of my family that went over didn't like Mexico because they were saying it was hot in the morning and in the night it was chilly but I love that kind of weather. My favorite summer vacation was when I went to Mexico because of the warm days, going to the store, and spending time with my family.

Getting to Mexico I felt the warmness and it felt go great because over here in Chicago it was super hot and in Mexico it was so relaxing. Looking at the sun it was one of the beautiful things that I saw because it was so bright and wonderful because it wasn't so bright like how it normally is, it was just perfect. Getting out of the car felt so well because the weather was so nice, it wasn't hot nor cold it was a perfect weather for me. I went swimming because the weather was so beautiful and we all decided to go get some fresh water on us. I got to wear shorts and just a blouse since it was very nice outside. I even bought new shorts and blouses from Mexico they are so pretty and they were expensive as well but they are very comfortable.

Going to the store was fun because it was like a mission to find it since in Mexico the stores are not in every corner. Since there wasn't a corner store by my grandmother's house we had to walk for about thirty minutes to the store because it was by the roads, so it was basically like a mission. The candy that was there in the store it was good because it was Mexican candy and they all taste sweet some were spicy and some were crunchy. At last the owner from the store was talking to me and he was telling me that if I just came because he never seen me around and I said yes but I was there to visit only and he ended up giving me a full bag of all types of candy and it was free.

Getting to know my family that lives in Mexico was very wonderful and emotional meeting my cousins, aunts, and uncles for the very first time was very exciting because that was the very first time I seen them since it was my first time in Mexico. All day I was having good time with them because they are very special and fun to be with we ended up going to the lake and do a cookout with everybody even the neighbors. We had all kinds of food since other people were bringing different stuff and even cakes. At the end of the day I was taking pictures with them because it was going to be the last day that I was going to see them well since last summer because this summer I'm going again but this time part of my father's and then I'm going with my mom's part of the family again.

During this trip I got to see my family since I really don't see them sometimes they come over but they only stay for like about a week or two. W did a lot of activities with them and had long talks with my cousins. This was my favorite summer vacation because I hardly get to see my family from Mexico. Hopefully I get to see them again and maybe next time I could bring something to my friends so they could go and visit Mexico because it's a beautiful place to be at and very warm. I think people should go visit Mexico even if they don't have family there, that's a very good place to have a vacation because of the weather and food. People out there are so friendly.
