Someone once said "It is not what an author says, but what he or she whispers, that is important." By Logan Pearsall Smith. The quote stated that every time you read a book is not always about understanding the plot or characters in a book but instead understanding how the book could be related to author’s life or what they’re trying to tell us while reading the book. How would you know if the characters are use in the story to understand the author life, or struggles? Therefore, this is why I agree with the quote because the books I have read through out the school year like to implement the character to describe the same lifestyle they went through they whole entire life. Similarly books are The Crucible by author Miller and Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom both uses characters to describe what they went through in life.

One book that proves the quote is the crucible by Author Milleri The crucible takes place in Salem, Massachusetts. The book is a play and is about people in society being accused of practicing Witchcraft which back of the day you will either get arrested or executed because first your are committed and second you are “worshiping the devils", The irony of it that people in Salem acts so religions however, commits simple sins too. Finally, in Salem it took 13 people murder to put an end of accusing everyone of practicing witchcraft, Therefore, what I trying to emphasize that the author of this book uses characterizations and similar plot to convey what he experience in life, You see in Authur Miller life some of the things he was going through in life are living in a society where there was conflicts between the two types of government.

Democracy and communism, Just like in the summary of the book in his life he went through people's jobs being taken away just because they were accused of being communists randomly. Finally, this is why I agree with the quote because Author Miller uses characters and plot to understand the same rough situation he went through in life with communism. Another book relates to the book is a book I read last Tuesday with Morrie by Mitch Albom The book is about an old man called Morrie teaching Mitch Albom the true value of life every.

Tuesday it was like a class listening to Morrie philosophy of life Mitch Albom was that kind of man who doesn’t think of anything else beside his jobs and money. However, after visiting Morrie every week he truly started to change his unselfishness and started showing love to his wife, and of course to Morriel An literary element Morrie uses is theme which was the values of life specifically like love always show compassion to your family, another important topic is death being scare of dying one day everyone is going to died therefore why be scare. This book relates to the quote because Mitch is notjust trying to tell us a story about having a conversation with an old man Called Morrie no!

He trying to convince people stop being so ignorant in life only thinking about money, clothes, etc because all of these are limited to life love is a different story it actually can unite people as one to stay strong, in conclusion, the two books The Crucible by Authur Miller and Tuesday with Morrie really relates to the quote because is about what the author trying to understand what the book about and trying to how this book came about. Now we know in the crucible by Authur Miller he was in a situation of everyone being accused communist with no type of evidence just rumor.
