At only 12 years old, Albert taught himself algebra, geometry, he even independently discovered his own proof of the Pythagorean theorem. His passion for geometry and algebra convinced Albert that nature could be understood as a mathematical structure. He started teaching himself calculus at 12, at 13 he was introduced to Kant’s Critique of Pure Reason, at 14 he mastered integral and differential calculus.
