Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it. This quote means that even though people are in pain and may be in some sort of suffering there will come a time and place where all of that negativity blows away. Two good books that show exactly how all this occurs are The Catcher in the Rye by J.D Salinger and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.
In Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, Holden Caulfield is put a through a test of adulthood and acceptance of others. He puts out people to be "phonies" or people he classifies as not real or fake people. As progressed throughout the book Holden gets caught with dangerous situations such as drinking and prostitutes. He thinks all this happens for a reason and keeps this thought in his head till his sister visits and he sees her on the carousel reaching for the ring making her all innocent. That's when Holden kind of snaps back into reality and "overcomes" this suffering and pain he has been dealt with throughout his story. At that moment he promises to protect everything childlike.
Lennie in Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck is put through tons of pain and struggles and it all ends in a bang. literally. To begin it all him and his companion George are put in the era of The Great Depression and have to make money to earn their living. But for Lennie it's hard to comprehend all this because he has the brain and personality of a child, but at the same time "strong as a bull". Lennie with his childlike brain likes to touch soft things and as you can say "breaks them". When he gets down George reminds them of their "dream farm" to keep the pain for Lennie at bay. Eventually to end with Lennie in a good peace of mind George reminds him once again of their "dream farm" and bang, a bullet in the head and all the pain is gone. That quickly Lennie's pain ended that quickly.

Without pain there is no happiness, two opposites react, right?
