Body dissatisfaction has successfully been conceptualized as a mediator of relations between objective measures of young adult women’s bodies and their concerns about and attempts to change their bodies (Markey and Markey 2005) In models, if is not positively related the weight with body size, normally there is body dissatisfaction, which is associated with weight concerns and dieting behaviors.
