Education is something I think is very valuable that shouldn't be taken lightly. I believe when someone can receive education that they should do it without any questions because there is nothing wrong with having more knowledge. The more knowledge one knows the further in life he or she can get. I believe education doesn't only help with just school or getting a job but also it helps with life in general. The more one knows the better one will succeed in anything.
My educational experiences throughout my life I have taken kind of seriously. There have been times where I didn't want to do the work and didn't want to learn anything. There have been times when I wanted to give up and just quit school. But I have taught myself that giving up is not an option, and that I shouldn't go for anything less than what I know I deserve. I think I deserve the best so therefore I try to do my very best throughout my educational career.
Now my inspiration for even starting and staying in college is, my brother, Creontia Rupert. My brother's perseverance through his entire college career has inspired me to stay in college and work my hardest. Through my brother's school career he has always had the drive to do his work and learn the necessary material. He has taught me that there is a time to play and a time to work and that someone can't be successful by doing absolutely nothing productive. Now Creontia is living out his dream in Nashville, Tennessee as a nurse. Only hard work has got him to that point and I want to be just like him.

My educational plans and expectations for the future are to graduate for Mississippi University for Women with a bachelor degree in elementary education and then become an elementary teacher in the Delta for a couple of years. I want to teach kindergarten and then come back to college and maybe go for nursing.
With all the wonderful things I have stated about my plans for college sometimes I do have fears about college. The hardest class I am in is Human A&P and I am failing it miserably. It just scares me because I have scholarship money and I need a 2.5 to keep it. It gets scary not to know if I will be able to keep the scholarship money because without it I can't afford college. Another thing I am scared about is just failing in general. I don't want to be a failure. College is scary from time to time but I know I can overcome my fears by doing the very best I can do.
With my fear I only now can let that fear be my motivation. The motivation I will have are on some of the academic areas I feel I need improvement on, I need improvement on just studying in general for different test. And my brother's school career he has always had the drive.
