As they always say, music can represent your life,' says the hobo who lives across the street from Ivytech, trying to give him credit or it’ll be considered plagiarism. As Kiddtana has enlightened me, Music is nothing but feelings and frequencies. Frequencies will compose the whole sound into an enjoyable tune, but the feeling and words behind the frequency are what make it relatable. I believe the combination of these two is the key to a great song. Here are a few of my favorite examples of how feelings and frequencies construct a song.

“No Fun” by Joji represents my days out of high school, as you get out of high school. Most of your 'friends' are long forgotten, as we all hang out for our last summer till we must move on to a university, move to a different state, start a family or even die. We'll never have a chance to meet up, we're all caught up in our lives that we've abandoned them. As one of the lyrics go 'F**k my friends, they're gone, They all left one by one, And now that summer's done, they don't need no more fun”

“100 Percent of Something” by Hoodie Allen represents somewhat of an ex-girlfriend and my self-conscious beginning of college. During my lifetime, I had to choose my girlfriend during that time or my goals. Choosing to start a family or my education for a better future, I couldn’t ever understand on why to have a family at a young age with no financial support, or a house to call home that is not shared by family or friends. As the lyrics go “I said I got a lot of dreams and you got a lot of needs, So there ain't a lot of time for me to help it”, as for my conscious, I chose my goal, leaving the relationship mutual ways. But later my head starts revolving to self-dealt, as my parents wanted grandkids making me sound selfish for wanting what I want, not what she wanted. Life runs in mysterious ways, sometimes it could never end the way you wanted. “I'd rather talk about my self-esteem but that's selfish, Lot of folks complain about the cards that you dealt me, But I'm still here shuffling the deck, yo what's come of it?”

“Better Days” by Kiddtana represents my pursuit of happiness and the things that I’m working towards, for this one I’ll be writing about my work experience. I work at Subaru, midnight shift, they constantly work me like a horse, with no break. They see me as valuable, on every position they put me, they know I put a little more effort than most others. Even after all the overtime, I still don't feel comfortable checking the bank, they somehow figured how to screw everyone over. If they continue abusing this loophole I plan to turn my 2 weeks in and tell my boss to have a good day, as the lyrics state. “I need a break, I don’t even check on the bank, cause my money says that I’m lame, like bye honey have a good day
