Everyone in the world has his or her own unique personality type and traits. There are innumerable possibilities and combinations. While I numerous personality traits, I have chosen five categories in which to describe my personality. These five categories are Response Style, Relating to others, Conscientiousness, Openness to Experience and Multiple Intelligences. I believe that each clearly demonstrates an aspect of who I am.

The first of the categories is my response style. While, I occasionally drift into passive/aggressive responses based on the situation, I often remain in the range of assertiveness or passive aggressiveness. However, despite my wish to be always assertive, I generally respond to conflicts with passive aggressive tendencies. These tendencies can be seen when I am driving and someone cuts me off, and instead of letting it go or angrily honking my horn, I tend to exclaim to myself and make sarcastic remarks. Also, when I become upset with someone, I often become resentful or want revenge, both symptoms of passive aggressiveness.

While my response style is not always perfect, I do tend to relate to others rather well, causing me to be an extrovert. I am generally described as warm, social, and an excitement- seeker. I tend to draw my energy from those around me, for when I am with a group of people I tend to be happier and more energetic than when I am alone. I tend to surround myself with people, but as everyone is both extrovert and introvert, I do sometimes prefer to be alone when I want to get work done or am generally annoyed. Overall, I focus much of my attention on social life and the external world.

Probably due to my extroversion, I tend to have little conscientiousness. I am often distracted by my friends or the Internet, causing procrastination. This procrastination also extends to my cleaning and orderly habits. While I enjoy having everything clean and put away, I more often than not have a messy room and a cluttered book bag. I also have little self-discipline. Whether it is food cravings or the want to talk to my friends, I have a difficult time resisting these urges. However, I am not completely hopeless, for I am almost always prepared and tend to work. be precise and exact in my

The next category is my openness to experience. For as long as I can remember, I've always been very open to change and trying new things. From having a giant snake around my neck, to eating strange foods, I almost never back down from a new and exciting experience. However, I am rather cautious and tend to shy away from anything that may harm others or me. Overall, I am extremely open to new experiences and seek them out on a day-to-day basis.

The last category is Multiple Intelligences. Howard Gardner believed that all humans possessed several different types of intelligences. I believe I have five of the eight he proposed, the first of these being Linguistic Intelligence. I am frequently complimented for my vocabulary and when I am not busy with schoolwork, I enjoy reading, and I have a relatively easy time learning languages and new words. Along with Linguistic, I also have Spatial Intelligence. I enjoy visual puzzles and I see colors and dreams vividly. I can effortlessly picture how something may appear from several angles and I can usually find my way around unfamiliar territory. The next intelligence believe I have is Musical Intelligence. I have a pleasant singing voice as well as being able to play several musical instruments.

I also can normally hear when a pitch or rhythm is off, and can sing/play a tune back after only hearing once or twice. Along with this, I also have music running through my mind almost all the time and I sing while I work or study. The fourth intelligence I think I possess is Interpersonal Intelligence. I am a particularly empathetic person, and people often come to me for advice or counsel. I enjoy getting involved in social activities in my community, have been described as a leader, and enjoy socializing.

The final intelligence I have is Intrapersonal Intelligence. As you can see from this project, I have good sense of my strengths and weaknesses and who I am. Whenever I find myself alone, I often find myself self-reflecting and thinking about important questions. Also, I am often able to respond to setbacks and hindrances with resilience and an optimistic outlook.

My personality is unique from anyone else in the entire world. While, many may have these specific characteristics of a passive-aggressive response style, extroversion, little conscientiousness, extreme openness to experience, and Musical, Linguistic, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, and Spatial Intelligences, no one else will have these traits and all the others I possess. These traits best fit my personality and who I am.
