The constant reaction of having to check notifications or the sound that draws us to look back at the screen. We are distracted by them daily no matter how hard it may be, individuals find it hard to back away from it. Social Networking seems to be constantly bringing most of our attention to the device in our hands. While socializing would be going out with friends and being out and about, now it’s just a single application on your phone that lets you communicate and explore the lives of others. Everyone is too focused on what is going deep beneath social media and other social platforms that everything else around them seems inexistent.

In addition, failing to multitask between tabs and apps one at a time draws away our attention to what we were set to look for. This constant desire to be able to do things one at a time is difficult and can expect the worse for some.

Entertainment is often used whether it may be Youtube, Netflix, Hulu it is easy access to one’s devices. After all, we are absolutely influenced by the things we see and the music we hear, we all get that good feeling. Some push to their limits to need that feeling and keep or have more of it. Individuals watch influencers or idolize actors and make them their main inspirations creating their own world from reality following what they do.

Negative entertainment brings out the worst in people and society as a whole. With better understand, the future outcome seems slim unless we pay less attention to what is on the tip of our fingertips. In the long run, there’s a lot of time to think about what we do with our devices. Will there be stand to where we say enough is enough? Or will things continue to get heavier and heavier as the epidemic worsen as we age throughout the years? Health and daily lifestyle seems to not just be a simple doctors visit but what your phone tells you.
