Vocabulary is words in a language written and spoken. Vocabulary improvement is very important because reading and writing is one of the most important skills to have in everyday living. My plan for my reading and writing improvement is to read and write inside and outside of the classroom. I read books and articles on my own time to keep my reading skills improving. I am writing at work all the time because I work for Allstate insurance as a support staff. I write different things on my own time like journals and definitions of different words to improve my vocabulary. Compared to Malcom X I also do different activities every day, not just in class, but everywhere to keep my reading and writing skills up and I strive learn new things every day.
Word parts means words that can be cut into smaller parts. Words that can be cut into smaller parts to better understand the definition or origin. The knowledge I have about word parts will help me understand many new words. If I don't have a dictionary or the dictionary cannot answer my questions about the new vocabulary words, breaking the word into its parts can help me better understand it.
Context clues are to help you figure out what the context of the word might be or which word maybe best to use in that context. Context clues are used to figure out what word to use in writing or verbal usage so you will not offend or confuse the person you are writing for or talking to. Using context clues along with the dictionary is a better way to understand the meaning and usage of many words.

Word choice helps writers make careful choices on what words and how to use them so the readers can better understand what the writer wants you to know. Writing is not as easy as having a conversation in person or on the phone. With writing you don't see or hear what the writer is thinking or feeling, you don't see the body language. When writing you have to carefully choose what words will show what the writer is feeling and what they are trying to imply.
Standard English is important for writing anything from a book to an article. In every day English we all tend to use slang, slang is never proper English and can make you appear unintelligent. If I were to say, "Y'all ain't comin?", in a written paper that will not make any sense and will make me appear unintelligent.
Vocabulary to me is not just words it's emotions, body language, and relating and understanding the language. The English vocabulary is quite confusing sometimes especially with all the dos and don'ts. How to properly use words so you won't seem unintelligent. How and what words to use so you won't upset or confuse the person you're writing for or talking to.
Most of all verbal English vocabulary is the worst of all because it feels like you have to make all these equations and plans in your heading before even starting a conversation with someone and if you don't say something right people get offended. In verbal English language you have to know the rights and wrongs of body language and what words and tones will appear upsetting and what would be taken positively by other people. You can get beat up and killed when you use body and verbal language wrong because they go hand in hand.
