The financial highlights of AB are compared with its competitors in the industry, sector, and SP 500s indexes. The financial ratios will provide information on how Anheuser Bosch stands with the competition in terms of strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats. Analysis Company information Anheuser Busch (AB) ranks fourth in the industry beverage, as per Fortune Global Magazine. Ranking first and second is the Coca-cola and Coca-cola Enterprise, third is Inbev and fourth is Anheuser-Busch BUDS. From among the global 500 companies, it ranks 478 and earned $ 15,717. 1 million.  On November 18, 2008, Anheuser-Busch Companies merged with its closest rival company, the InBev. Under this merger, major changes have been done. For example, all shares of stock of Anheuser-Busch were acquired by InBev in the total amount of USD52 billion. From this date, the company trades under a new symbol as ABI and changed its name to Anheuser-Busch InBev. Company headquarters remain in St. Louis, MO, and will also become the combined headquarters for the merged companies. The new company has come out with a vision of becoming the best beer company in a better world. One of the reasons for mergers is the lessening of competition. InBev and Anheuser-Busch are the two closest rivals in the beverage industry. With their merger, it is expected that they will come out to be a stronger company up to compete with Coca-Cola, the number one contender of soft drinks maker in the world.

In the overall analysis, the valuation, growth, profitability, and efficiency of Anheuser-Busch show a comparative strength in the industry. The weaknesses are seen point to its comparative performance with that of the S & P 500s index. The company, in earlier reports, ranks as 478 in the global standing of Fortune 500 companies which is similar to that of S & Ps The weaknesses pointed out in the analysis are opportunities for improvement. Management can make the issues shown on the weaknesses as a focal point for improvement for its future plans. The weaknesses become a threat to the company if these are not given attention by the company.
